The Next Phase of AI Transformation in Finance

The Next Phase of AI Transformation in Finance

A year ago, most of our conversations with leaders at our partner institutions were about AI adoption: how to get their teams using AI at all.

That was the opening move. As AI models have gone from copilot systems answering questions to autopilot agents doing work end-to-end, the conversation has changed. It's no longer asking how to adopt a faster chatbot. It's how to rebuild workflows from the ground up — where every workflow has decades of muscle memory behind it. How to connect agents to the data that runs partner  firms, when that data is fractured across hundreds of legacy systems. And, how to rethink the structure of the firm itself — when the operating model for these businesses hasn't changed in decades.

Meeting this moment takes AI that can actually do the work — that can reason through an investment thesis, use tools to pull the data, produce real deliverables like decks and models — and the ability to embed it inside institutions where trust, security, and governance are non-negotiable. It also takes economics that work for the institution: leverage that shows up in the P&L.

We built Rogo to be the partner for exactly this moment. Today, I want to share two developments that reflect where we're headed.

Felix Is Live

Felix is Rogo's autonomous AI agent, now deployed across many of the world’s largest banks and investment firms.

While Rogo has been a real-time thought partner for financial professionals, now Felix represents the next generation: an AI that doesn't wait to be asked. Felix integrates directly into the systems our clients already use — email, messaging, spreadsheets, data terminals — and executes complex, multi-step workflows end to end. Felix performs research, analysis, document preparation, and deal process management asynchronously, around the clock, with the enterprise-grade security and data governance our institutional clients require.

Felix is the colleague who anticipated what you'd need before you walked into the room — and it works across every deal, every portfolio, every meeting, simultaneously.

Our partner firms are already running Felix across core investment banking, dealmaking, and other front-office finance workflows. They are learning and evolving toward what the operating model of the future looks like in practice.

Kevin Buehler Joins Rogo as Chief Innovation Officer

One of the hardest parts of AI transformation at a financial institution is about making the technology stick. It requires getting agents like Felix embedded into real workflows, earning trust from senior professionals, and building the muscle memory that turns a pilot into an operating standard. Helping our clients use Felix effectively is as much about the product as it is about navigating the organizational processes and the habits of leading institutions.

I am delighted to welcome Kevin Buehler to the senior leadership team at Rogo. Kevin spent 32 years at McKinsey & Company, where he led the firm's investment banking practice and co-founded its global risk practice. He advised the leaders of the world's largest financial institutions on their most complex strategic, analytical and organizational challenges.

That's exactly what AI demands right now. Kevin is joining Rogo because he sees what we see: the AI transformation of financial services is at the heart of the industry, and Rogo is shaping and enabling its next chapter.

“I’ve spent my career helping leading financial institutions navigate change. I decided to come to Rogo because the intersection of AI and finance is where some of the greatest changes are  happening. As I started to work with Felix, I realized the future of finance had already arrived.  Felix doesn’t feel like another AI tool to me; it feels like a deeply talented colleague who happens to be inexhaustible and is always an email away. What it takes to transform this industry is the combination of a great product, a remarkably impressive team, deep financial services capabilities, and startup speed. Rogo has that extraordinarily rare combination, and that’s why I’m here.”

What This Means Together

The best investment banks and investment firms have always been defined by one thing: the quality of their decision-making. Everything else — the creative ideas, the research, the analysis, the document preparation — exists to support those decisions.

Felix accelerates the analytical and executional inputs that drive deals and capital allocation. Kevin helps shape how we deploy Felix, enabling Rogo to help our clients transform.

Technology and transformation, together. That's how you get from AI tools to AI-native financial firms. That's what Rogo delivers.
